Dance Websites:

  • The Arkansas Valley Music and Dance site has contra dancing, square dancing, and music jam sessions, but they occasionally have partner-style dance events. Check their calendar.

  • Summit Country Dance - Monthly at the Silverthorne Pavilion It starts at 7pm sharp, doors open at 6:30pm & bring $10 per person. Lesson for couples dancing and one line dance the first hour and then open dancing until 11:00. They usually get a big crowd - typically over 100 people!

  • 4 Eagle Ranch’s First Thursday Country Dance in Wolcott Usually held on the first Thursday of every month (but occasionally on the second Tuesday - check to be sure), guests from all over enjoy an evening of Country Dancing filled with dancing, food, and fun. Line dance instruction is from 6:00 – 7:00 pm and then a DJ or sometimes a live band and dancing go from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. $15 cover at the door. Cash bar and Chili / cornbread available for purchase.

  • Motion Exchange Dance Classes in Buena Vista: Facebook page or Website offers ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern and dance fitness classes. Great for kids and singles who want to move to music! It's not geared towards partner-style dancing (the focus of our website) but check them out.

  • Leadville Dance Academy - Offering classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hiphop, and tumbling for ages 3+, with more to come! - on Facebook and website

  • Altitude Performing Arts Offers Summit County both recreational and pre-professional dance training in a positive, educational atmosphere

  • Argentine Tango classes at Casa Tango, 7595 County Road 150, Salida, CO 81201 - Contact Steve or Dvora for more info: call (719) 539-7595 or email. No website at this time (January 2019), but they do have an email mailing list for upcoming Tango events, including their annual 3-day tango extravaganza!

  • Swing Dancing: East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Jitterbug and more. Merle & Thekla Schultz in Summit County.

  • The Denver Turnverein is a non-profit organization focused on dancing, dance education, and the arts. With its huge wooden dance floor, 1100+ members, 12 dance classes per week, and at least two Saturday dances monthly, The Denver Turnverein is the premier dancing facility in the Denver metro area.

  • The Mercury Cafe in Denver is a funky location that serves food but so much more: Music, Dance, Theater & Poetry. Dance lessons and events include Swing, Salsa, Tango, Blues and Samba.
