Aminah Gigstad is the Director of the Mountain Gypsy Bellydance Tribe, and is also a certified Yoga instructor.

According to her website, “American Tribal Style Bellydance finds its roots in the folkloric dances of the Middle East, North Africa and Spanish Flamenco. These styles were blended together and made popular by various Middle Eastern dance troupes on the United States West Coast.”
