Dancing With The Mountain Stars
The premier formal fundraising event of Summit County! This year’s event is Saturday, October 1, 2011, at the Keystone Conference Center.
Patterned after the hit ABC television show Dancing With The Stars, this local gala event features two-time Emmy Nominated Choreographer Mandy Moore (born and raised right here in Summit County), plus a cast of local celebrities, and their professional dance partners from L.A.!
In its fourth year, this hospital fundraiser is likely to be a sell out, filling Summit County's largest ballroom!

- Tracy Van Anderson’s winning Samba performance. Tracy won a perfect score of 30 from the judges, and was also voted People’s Choice! Tracy was coached by Teresa Moen! Her professional partner was Michael Riccio. (At around 4:48 in the video, Roger delivers the line “Tracy, as I watch you walk away, one phrase comes to mind: Tutti frutti, what a booty!”)
- Greg Poulter’s dramatic Paso Doble performance. It’s preceded by a minute of introductions by Roger & Teresa, the MC’s for the evening! Roger’s tux was generously donated by Frisco Fun & Formal (thanks Sandee!)

Ten local celebrity dancers were paired with professional dancers from Los Angeles. All choreographed by Emmy-nominated choreographer, Mandy Moore (born and raised right here in Summit County).
Roger and Teresa Moen were this year’s Master and Mistress of Ceremonies (and dance coaches too!). We also coached Tracy Van Anderson (Samba) and Kate Brewer (Foxtrot), helping them learn the routine and preparing them to dance with their professional on the night of the Big Show.
Next year’s event will be Saturday, October 1, 2011 -- see you there!
